*Cardamom is known as the queen of spices in Ayurveda. It gently supports a healthy digestive system. It can reduce fullness and intestinal gas due to acidic conditions of Pitta toxin. It also helps the gut to recover from food poisoning. Many even chew the cardamom seed as a way to freshen up their breath and moves the accumulated fluids in the lung. The aroma of Cardamom helps to calm the mind. The cooling action of cardamom gently removes heat from the blood, body fluids, and urine. Cardamom is also an excellent bladder cleanser.
