Clove Powder (Syzygium Aromaticum)

*Cloves are native to East Asian countries. The cloves are dried flower buds that have four spreading sepals and four unopened petals that form a small central ball. It is an evergreen that flowers in March, right when the phlegm is building up. This aromatic and pungent-sweet spice can help open the sinus passages and open up air passages. It has many other uses too; some of them include anti-aging qualities. Rich in antioxidants, it can aid in stimulating vitality. When you taste the clove you will notice it has very sharp quality, it is this sharpness that makes it penetrate deep tissues and in increasing metabolism. It also helps with sugar metabolism and cleans kidneys. Traditionally, clove powder or oil is applied directly for toothaches and can manage pain during dental work. Morphology –
The clove tree is an evergreen that grows up to 8–12 m tall, with large leaves and crimson flowers grouped in terminal clusters. The flower buds initially have a pale hue, gradually turn green, then transition to a bright red when ready for harvest. Cloves are harvested at 1.5–2.0 cm long, and consist of a long calyx that terminates in four spreading sepals, and four unopened petals that form a small central ball.
