Cumin Powder (Cuminum Cyminum)

Size

*Cumin is a well-known spy in many cultures. Cumin helps in proper digestion and assimilation of nutrients. Secretions from the gut and other organs such as the liver, pancreas, and gallbladder are optimally secreted when Cumin is consumed. In postpartum care, the benefits of Cumin are well documented in Ayurvedic textbooks. It does not only help in improving the lymphatic flow but also increases breast milk and cleanses the uterus after childbirth. Cumin can help absorb nutrients from the food that we digest. When this spice is consumed on a daily basis, joints and ligaments become flexible and free from inflammation. The essential oils present in the Cumin are excellent for opening the head and neck channels.

*Benefits include reducing abdominal fullness and lack of appetite, enhancing lymphatic flow, reducing metabolic toxins, and helping with postpartum care.

Suggested Use: 1/2-1 teaspoon in powdered form, once or twice daily, or use as directed by your health practitioner.
