Morphology –
Tulsi is an annual shrub that has a height of 2 to 4 feet. The whole plant is of purple color. Leaves are 1 to 2 ½ inch long, oval in shape and dentate. Flowers are small and are purple in color. Seeds are oval and are flattened and shiny having brown color and bears black spots on them. Flowers and fruits bloom in winters.
